"About how much will a web site cost? "

This question cannot be answered effectively unless you are specific about your needs. In order to quote you a fair price, you need to supply as much information as you can about your web design project.

• How many pages do you think you'll need?
• Do you have your logo and graphics ready or do they need designed?
• Do you already have your text or do we need to write that?
• Are you needing e-commerce (ie...databases, shopping carts, etc)?

We do not have set prices for web design services unlike some web designers, every web site we design is created exclusively for a particular client. This means every customer of ours is guaranteed to have their OWN web site, it would be impossible to have set prices. Every design client will not require the same services, some will need e-commerce, some will want an informational site others may want an online photo album or resume.

You should always request a quote for your particular design project. All price quotes include forms, images and their manipulation, links, Meta tag optimization for your web pages, and free site submission to many search engines once the web design project is completed to your approval. No extra charges will be tagged onto any project once a price is agreed upon.

Most of us have some idea as to what we would like to say to the world. At Mystik Web Design we try to keep the "how" as simple as possible. We have several "packages" to choose from or you can add options to customize it. Either way, you only pay for what you need.

Our Personal Page package is an inexpensive way for you to begin to enjoy some of the better benefits of the internet. The standard features include;

• Initial consultation

• Up to 4 images (including background if applicable)
• One page of text
• Up to 5 links to (probably external) locations

• E-mail link notification upon completion

Uploaded to your server:

Most businesses and organizations require more than a single web page... the following prices will provide a guide as you develop your web site budget:

Additional Photos or Images:

$25 for each scan from your hard copy source material; converted to web format
$15 for source material supplied digitally; converted to web format
$30 each: 6" tall or wide enlarged image on its OWN page...linked to smaller version of same image (to allow greater detail in viewing)

Graphics:

$75 per hour for custom graphics such as logos, special font headings, backgrounds, image maps, rollovers, enhancements (including resizing, retouching, color enhancement) and special text effects.

Web Site Text Updates:

$50 per hour, minimum of one-quarter hour billing time

Makeovers, Maintenance, and Revisions Per Hour:

Web Site maintenance, as needed: $50 per hour, minimum of one-quarter hour billing time. Contact us for major makeover estimates, as everything is dependent on content, etc...

Makeovers, Maintenance, and Revisions - Monthly Retainer

Some clients find it easier to retain my services on a monthly basis in order to handle the latest changes immediately. In effect, I am your full-time Web master. Changes, additions, etc., are taken care of on a priority basis. There is no hourly charge involved, it is a retainer. The minimum fee for this service is in the range of $1000 per month, but then your immediate needs are taken care of before the ink dries on your request.

Evaluations of Existing Sites:

If your Web site isn't working as you expect it to, you can hire me for a Web site review. A review can be a cursory check for aesthetics, or an in-depth review listing what is good, what is bad, what is lacking, and what can or should be changed from a marketing perspective to increase your site's success. Reviews require several hours time to explore the site, check out the competition, and study the market you are trying to reach. Follow the recommendations, and your business will increase. You select how many of the pages on your web site you want professionally evaluated; $30 per page, minimum of 3 pages.

Mystik Web Design can make all arrangements for your custom domain name registration and setting up an ISP account to host your web site, you'll pay the amount due to the registry, plus a $25 setup fee payable to Mystik Web Design..

On-Site Consultation:

$60 per hour plus expenses...if requested to come to your place of business for staff training, or for on-site work.

Registration with the major search engines; Uploading of site to your directory; Beta testing:

$75 per hour
